“Join Me . . . And Together We’ll Build a Freedom Business (Side-by-Side in the ‘Trenches’) During the NEXT 3.8 Months”

Tuesday, 3:16PM

Minneapolis, MN

So I guess this is the part where I’m supposed to bust out the high-pressure copywriting sales tactics and try and get you to join this crazy project of mine.

But instead of doing that, I’m just going to tell you about Project Mojave. If you think it’s for you, then let’s work together. If you don’t think it’s for you then no worries. (You’ll continue getting free stuff like the Business Ideas Litmus Test).

Cool?

Alright, let’s get on to talking . . .

About Project Mojave

Put VERY simply, Project Mojave deals with the practical — down in the trenches & nitty-gritty aspects — of creating a business that will support your life of massive freedom.

Anyway, Project Mojave is, quite literally, a project. And over the course of 3.8 months, I’ll be building a Freedom Business *alongside* YOU. So as you’re building a freedom business, I will be too.

In fact, I’ve selected someone’s business idea . . . and am turning it into a successful AUTOMATED business. In my “spare time.” And as we go along, I’ll be showing you exactly how I’m doing it.

We won’t ONLY be *teaching* Project Mojave members how to build a Freedom Business.

We’ll be showing them as well. (While I’m building a Freedom Business, you will be also).

I’m going to literally build a successful business right before you eyes, while you’re also building one.

Here’s a “Behind-Closed-Doors” Project Mojave Tour

“…we’ll have built a business that creates $50K/year in six weeks….”

The last six weeks have been a blur. I’ve neglected my blog… As well as many other things in my life. But I’ve also had some really amazing things happen…. It all started back in January… I set a goal to make $1000/month of passive income. I mostly wanted to make enough passive income so that I wouldn’t have to write a check for my student loans every month. So I set a goal of making $1000/month by December 31, 2009. I’ve tried a lot of things over the past five months… and nothing seemed to stick. Until I found this really sweet “Business Litmus Test” from Clay Collins. It was designed to teach people how to find niches and tell if they’ll be profitable or not before ever entering them. I found a niche that looked like it had potential. And to make a really, really long story short, it did. The last six weeks I’ve been busting my ass… Most nights I’d come home from work and work on this until 11 or 12. Last week, the site I built launched, which kept me up until at least 2 or 3 a.m. for four days straight, preparing for the launch. But now that it’s launched, I can tell you that it was worth every minute. We launched Thursday night. (I say “We” because I partnered with a really great guy from Ohio.) So we launched Thursday and now we have a membership site that is bringing in roughly $5,000 of revenue every month. Assuming that attrition rates aren’t too bad, we’ll have built a business that creates $50K/year in six weeks. Which is really amazing when I stop and think about it… And I never would have found this niche if it wasn’t for Clay Collins’ Project Mojave… Clay is brilliant… and if you’re at all interested in internet marketing or creating “freedom businesses” as he calls them, you absolutely HAVE to join this community.

What Project Mojave is REALLY About

The main purpose of project Mojave is to help you create a business that allows you to work when and how you want, spend more time travelling or with family, and that enables you to live a life of massive personal freedom.

Project Mojave was created after it became clear that . . .

  • Too many people get up in the morning dreading their upcoming work day.
  • Most people will retire from jobs that they dislike (as much as the ones they have now).
  • Too many people’s jobs are the #1 life-sucking force in their lives.

Why Most People Don’t Live Lives of Massive Freedom

There are two reasons why most people haven’t created businesses that give them massive personal freedom (i.e. “freedom businesses”). Those reasons are . . .

  1. The “Blind Faith” Problem
  2. The “Road Map” Problem.

Let’s discuss what these things are . . .

“I’ve launched an additional online business that’s allowing me to make a sizeable income.”

Let me tell you what Project Mojave has allowed me to do:

  • I’ve increased readership on [my] blog by over 100%
  • I’ve increased my blog revenue by 400% (in 3 months)
  • I’ve launched an additional online business that’s allowing me to make a sizeable income.

Thus I’ve reached my goal, which I established when I started PM, of being able to pay for (most of) law school. Project Mojave is not some sort of sketchy internet marketing program…Clay started Project Mojave because he wants people to be able to have the income they need to live the life they want. He calls it creating a freedom business. For many people this means quitting their jobs and spending more time with their families, for others it’s about being able to travel around the world and not worry about money. I’m probably the odd one for wanting to afford to go to law school. Clay advocates finding the intersection of what you are passionate about and what can make you money and he gives you the tools to do this. Again, it’s not selling a sketchy product, but selling something that you believe in that people want to buy. It’s about helping people. Project Mojave is a solid program which I would wholeheartedly recommend.

The Blind Faith Problem

The “blind faith” problem results from lack of data. For example, if you’re like most people looking to start a “freedom business”. . .

  • . . . you don’t know how much money you’ll need to get started (and that’s scary)
  • . . . you don’t know whether or not your business will fund your retirement, let alone your “freedom” (and that’s scary)
  • . . . you don’t know whether you’ll have to spend all your hard-earned savings (and that’s scary)
  • . . . you don’t know how long it’s going to take to become profitable (and that’s scary)
  • . . . you don’t know how hard you’re going to have to work (are you going to have to spend weekends toiling in your garage? are you going to have to give up precious time with family?)
  • . . . you don’t know whether or not the market will buy what you are selling? (Will you spend a lot of time producing a product that hardly sells?)

Mostly people can’t even attempt to answer the questions above . . .

. . . thus, starting a business often requires too much “blind faith.”

Indeed, most people never create their “freedom business” because they don’t have the blind faith necessary to pursue their vision.

And I don’t blame them. They shouldn’t have to!!

But what if it were possible to answer many of the above questions BEFORE YOU STARTED YOUR BUSINESS?

Anyway, if the “blind faith” problem weren’t enough, you’ll also have to deal with a pesky thing I call “The Roadmap Problem.”

“I just ran my July earnings and I pulled in $1650 last month on my blog — so this is without the project launch that I’m JVing next week.”

Hey, Clay, just wanted to say thank you and keep up the good work with PM. I just ran my July earnings and I pulled in $1650 last month on my blog — so this is without the project launch that I’m JVing next week. But it was through the keyword research modules that I was able to go back and optimize a few old posts and boost my affiliate sales. Just to put the earnings in perspective this is 4x what I earned 4 months ago and 2x last month’s earnings. So thank you. I’ll post to the forums with the results of the product launch. Hopefully it will push me past my earnings goal and allow me to pay for college!

-A. Ruhl

The Roadmap Problem

The “road map” problem is this: most people don’t know (a) what’s required to create a successful “freedom business,” and (b) HOW they’re going to do it, (whatever it is).

And the Roadmap Problems stops many entrepreneurs dead in their tracks because . . .

. . . it’s really hard to get excited about starting a business if you don’t know what the first, or second, or third steps should be.

Unfortunately, the “road map” problem is where lots of very talented and ambitious people end up leaking massive amounts of energy while worrying about things like:

  • Should I learn SEO?
  • Should I learn PPC?
  • Should I start a blog?
  • Should I not start a blog?
  • Where should I get server hosting?
  • What should I be looking for in hosting?
  • What kind of software should I buy?
  • Which affiliate programs should I join?
  • Should I buy a copywriting course?
  • Should I not buy a copywriting course?

In fact, this list of questions is potentially endless.

Honestly, it saddens me when I hear from people who have great ideas but are getting hung up with the roadmap problem . . .

. . . because its just not necessary to get concerned with all that stuff before you have the foundation of a business in place.

And, truthfully, the Roadmap Problem is where a lot of internet marketers will try and take your money (and part you with your cash).

This is really, really unfortunate because you don’t need to spend much money here at all — at all, at all.

But so many people end up losing the majority of their capital to The Roadmap Problem.

Anyway, the Roadmap Problem is huge, it annoys me and we’re going to be addressing it head on in Project Mojave.

Cool. So . . .

Now That We’ve Talked About the “Blind Faith” and “Road Map” Problems, Let’s Talk About How Project Mojave Will Address These Problems.

How Project Mojave Addresses the “Blind Faith” Problem

“When creating an online business, the successful person starts his company after adequate success is certain, whereas he who is destined for bankruptcy first creates a product and then looks to see if it will be profitable.”

-The Project Mojave Team (paraphrasing Sun Tzu from the Art of War)

Most internet entrepreneurs are destined for defeat because they start a business first and afterwards look for victory.

The “blind faith” solution is to set yourself up for dominance BEFORE starting a business.

The Blind Faith solution is the get cold hard data that your business will likely work before you start out.

The Blind Faith Solution is a new, under-the-radar kind of market research that your potential competitors don’t know about.

And I don’t mean boring old stab-me-in-the-eye market research. . .

. . . I mean tricked out ninja market research techniques that I’ve developed in the last year and that your potentially competitors don’t even know about.

Anyway, the entire point of this market research is to help you figure out, BEFORE YOU START YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS . . . how you can sell enough stuff to enough people at high enough prices.

The Market Research component of Project Mojave will help you make excellent decisions about what products to sell and which markets to pursue.

In the market research portion, we’ll cover. . .

  • How to use market research to get over your fear (of failure, going broke, pain etc.).
  • How to eliminate much of the uncertainty involved in starting a business and launching a product.
  • How to figure out which of your skills are sufficiently developed to finance an independent lifestyle.
  • A blueprint for testing whether or not your online business idea will likely work before you invest in it.
  • How to cheaply “try” new business ideas.
  • Detailed and step-by-step instructions on how to discover profitable markets and niches that others are overlooking (and that can fund your freedom for years).
  • How to decide which of your ideas will likely be the MOST profitable and succeed.
  • How to figure out which business ideas you can start — with your skills — and actually be excited about for years to come.
  • How to find reliable sources of income that don’t monopolize all of your free time.

All of the things above serve as the best possible antidote to this “blind faith” problem.

In fact, when you’ve found an amazing opportunity in a lucrative market, the lack of need for “blind faith” will almost entirely disappear. . .

. . . because when you have solid data about market opportunities, you don’t really need “faith.”

Now that we’ve discussed how Project Mojave addresses the blind faith problem, let’s discuss . . .

“Clay Collins immediately got me a 1318% increase in traffic.”

Clay Collins immediately got me a 1318% increase in traffic. I’ve been an internet marketer for years and I have personally never seen ANYTHING like it. Even when one of the big “Gurus” tried to get me more traffic he was only able to do a fifth of what Clay did. It really didn’t take much effort on my part either, I’ll admit, the content I created was my highest quality to date, but Clay used his evil magic on it the tsunami of visitors just showed up and hasn’t stopped. What’s really cool is the visitors are high value, I had a low bounce rate and got a ton of qualified opt-ins. Clay Collins is a genius.

How Project Mojave Addresses the Road Map Problem

To address the Road Map problem, we’ll be creating individualized marketing plans for our “freedom” businesses.

These plans are going to be as minimalistic and cheap as possible and . . .

. . . we are going to cut through the crap and start selling stuff as soon as possible.

I’m also going to take you behind the scenes of one of my niches and show you exactly what I’ve got under the hood.

I’m going to show you . .

  • The software you should be using
  • The hosting you should be using
  • How you should be spending your money
  • How to cheaply start businesses

We’ll also cover. . .

  • Simple, step-by-step instructions for beginning a very small but profitable business to ease into making money.
  • How to “run” with your business ideas and make them profitable as quickly as possible.
  • How to specifically focus your time and energy so that you’re not wasting time or resources.
  • How to determine the best way to market your business (SEO, Adwords, etc.)

Now that we’ve discussed how Project Mojave will address the “Blind Faith” and “Roadmap” Problems, lets discuss . . .

The Project Mojave Process

The Project Mojave Process will be a three-month process. Let’s talk about . . .

Phase ONE of Project Mojave: Idea Generation, Market Research, and Product Creation

During Phase 1, we’ll help you quickly generate as many business ideas as possible. We’ll also show you the step-by-step methods I use to find “goldmine” markets.

And after you’ve generated lots of ideas, we’ll do market research . . . lots of it (so you can ensure, BEFORE YOU START YOUR ONLINE BUSINESS, that you can sell enough stuff to enough people at high enough prices).

Finally, during phrase 1, we’ll show you how to rapidly produce a high-value information product.

At the end of Phase1, you will have selected a market and business idea, and created a product around it.

Note: What we’ll be covering in Phase 1 is the best Internet market research material in existence today.

“20 minutes on the phone with Clay may earn me tens of thousands of dollars this year.”

20 minutes on the phone with Clay may earn me tens of thousands of dollars this year. He clarified my thinking and set me in the right direction. Project Mojave is THE blueprint for a "freedom business."

-Sarah Beckley

Phase TWO of Project Mojave: Creating a Roadmap, Crafting a Marketing Plan, and Selling Stuff

During Phase Two we’ll be creating marketing plans.

I’m not talking about high-level philosophical stuff here . . .

. . . we’ll be talking about how to quickly & cheaply create websites, what software to use, where to get traffic that buys our stuff, and how to sell things in our market AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.

We’ll also be discussing . . .

“Project Mojave has been such an amazing eye-opening experience…”

Project Mojave has been such an amazing eye-opening experience and the thoughtfulness Clay brings to this is truly unrivaled. He goes above and beyond to answer the call to help you out every step of the way. I’m really happy I subscribed and wouldn’t think twice about it again. Thanks Clay.

-Matt McDannel

  • How to quickly and cheaply create electronic products
  • Rapid product creations methods used by the pros
  • How to set up automated selling systems that market and sell your product in your sleep
  • How to outsourcing the development of nearly every conceivable type of information product
  • How to write an e-book or home study audio course in 1 week flat

During Phase 2, the goal is to get you to the point where you’re starting to make $4,000/month.

Phase THREE of Project Mojave (After Week 12)

During Phase 3 of Project Mojave, we’ll be show you how to improve your marketing and increase profits!

The goal for Phase 3 is to help you move from making $4k/month to making your ideal income. During phase three we’ll help you scale your business to be as large as you want to make it.

“Project Mojave is by far the best course and community of its kind I’ve seen.”

Project Mojave is by far the best course and community of its kind I’ve seen. I knew keyword research, but what I learned from Clay here was how to think critically and analyze that data profitably. I’ve seen incredible ‘ah-ha!’ pieces of information that I haven’t seen anywhere else. I’ve been exposed to tools and techniques I never knew existed. I didn’t expect to have my eyes opened to this extent. If you join, learn and implement on the gold that’s in here, your success is assured.

The Project Mojave Community

The Project Mojave community is a vibrant online forum filled with people looking to make a difference in their lives and the lives of others. Project Mojave members are constantly forming mastermind groups, accountability groups, and teaming up together to help further their freedom businesses.

“This [Freedom Business] roadmap distinguishes this site from all the other internet business classes….”

This [Freedom Business] roadmap distinguishes this site from all the other internet business classes I’ve tried. It lays out the process, has the nerve to assign a timeline, and has the content tied directly to it. It seems like a no-brainer to include something like this, but I will tell you, I have not found it at other sites. Go Clay!

Mentorship Hours

All Project Mojave members will have access to ONE-ON-ONE weekly mentorship calls with me (Clay) . . . during which you can ask questions regarding about ANYTHING related to your Freedom Business.

“… I’m only a few weeks into the course, but already it has given me what I need – focus, direction, guidance and advice.”

I’d spent nearly a year toying with the idea of creating a ‘freedom business’ and then spent a further 6 months researching and trying to build something myself. I learned a lot, but didn’t end up with anything tangible (i.e., a business) or, crucially, any income. Then along came Project Mojave… I’m only a few weeks into the course, but already it has given me what I need – focus, direction, guidance and advice. The video formats work really well alongside the written content – and the 1:1 sessions are hugely beneficial. I now feel I’m on the right track and fully expect to provide a further testimonial in the near future stating that my freedom business is up-and-running and that I have successfully generated income from it. Clay delivers what he says he will deliver in his own unique and refreshing style. I’ve finished my first product and made the website live – last night I even had my first sale! There is no way I would have achieved this without Project Mojave. Therefore I’d like to say a really BIG THANK YOU to Clay, the faculty members and every other Project Mojave member who has in some way inspired and motivated me to keep going. This is the best community.

“This is world-class information you are sharing.”

Clay, you continue to amaze. This is AWESOME material. And you provided the code for the redirect and the links to setting up Google analytic tracking. I visit this site every day and I continue to be blown out of my shoes. You aren’t charging enough for this stuff, my friend. This is world-class information you are sharing. Incredible.

Bonuses for The FIRST 50 People Who Enroll in Project Mojave

The first 50 people who enroll in Project Mojave up will get. . .

  • Virtual EBook and product cover creation software. Yup . . . the first 50 people get this for free (a $37 value). (If you have a virtual product, such as an e-book, that you’re selling, it’s important for you to have a 3-D pictorial representation to present to your customers . . . many e-book authors and marketers simply pay a design service to do this for them, but it usually ends up costing hundreds and hundreds of dollars. There’s another way!).
  • 56 internet marketing website templates . . . that I personally use + "buy now" buttons, "squeeze pages," and opt-in graphics (a $197 value).
  • A free pass to the second Project Mojave World Freedom Conference in the Spring (a $150 value). (NOTE #1: It’s going to be at a group camping site in Joshua Tree National Park — which is IN the Mojave Desert. (Note #2: there are plenty of hotels nearby if you don’t like to camp . . . but this is going to be like Burning Man for the unconventional).

“That’s Clay — extremely knowledgeable and passionate about helping people.”

Clay’s passion, sincerity, and authenticity is unmatched. His experience is completely evident. With all the hype there are really only a small handful out there who really know what it takes — the work and dedication. Clay is not only one of those elites, but among those there are even fewer who are really passionate about sharing their knowledge to REALLY help people. That’s Clay — extremely knowledgeable and passionate about helping people. Project Mojave members are tightly focused on a very similar goal though we’re all different people. Here that goal is not only creating a low hour work week "freedom business", it’s also helping and encouraging each other to do the same. They’re some AMAZING people here who have already achieved a LOT. There are even a few BIG names with more to come I’m sure. Easiest testimonial I’ve ever had to write.

“ I already have an internet business that earns me about 144K… But what Clay brings to the mix is the actual nuts and bolts of how to DO it.”

I can’t say enough about how much I love Project Mojave. Clay is incredible and his material is really top-notch. He might not be as polished as some, but that’s actually part of his appeal: he isn’t some coddled Harvard grad spinning theories, but someone REAL, making it happen in the real world. What I’ve gotten from Project Mojave has completely turned on its head everything I’ve been doing for the past 8 years. I already have an internet business, and it earns me about $144K a year, all from laptop and cell phone. Which sounds great and all, but the reality is, it’s little more than a glorified job. I’m working from a laptop, but I spend 50+ hours a week at the damn thing. Not exactly a "freedom" business. And it’s not going to change unless I change how things work. And that’s what Project Mojave has inspired: a vision for what it could be and how I can build something out of what I’ve already got, but where it will run without me. Replacing myself in the mix; automating everything; marketing it to a larger audience. I’ve read books on all of this, of course. We probably all have. But what Clay brings to the mix is the actual nuts and bolts of how to DO it. The books give you a lot of theory, and they’re motivating (at least for a while), but they don’t show you how it’s actually done, down in the trenches, where the businesses are actually built. The insights and real-world approaches conveyed in even the first one or two videos in Project Mojave were alone worth ten times the price of admission. Recommendation if you are thinking of jumping in with Project Mojave: Do it FAST before Clay realizes he should be charging at least 5X as much for memberships!

“We pulled in about $3,500 during the launch and are continuing at a rate at about $100/day.”

…after considering many, many, many markets I ended up working with a friend. We had our product launch two weeks ago and it was a big success. We pulled in about $3500 during the launch and are continuing at a rate at about $100/day. That’s my victory in a nutshell. Anyhow, I am very excited about our launch and the continuing sales. I was frankly a little unsure that I would get to a freedom business point in three months when I signed up for PM [Project Mojave], but it looks like I have! I couldn’t have done this without PM and all of the great people who are a part of it.
